JHM Global is an organization that works to empower women in impoverished countries. In addition, they also provide aid to orphans and teenagers with broken families. On top of that, it is run by the Hopewell family who are close friends of mine.
This poster, called ‘Many Colors,’ is my gift to them for the stellar work they do. The poster itself will be distributed by the organization and will be available through the More Than A Brand store. To learn more about JHM Global you can visit their website at www.jhmglobal.com. Donations are not required, however I’m sure they will reward you with a hearty high-five.

Above are some designs for various companies that may or may not come to fruition. The ‘Hypothesis Theory’ name was something I toyed with before settling on More Than A Brand. Interestingly enough, the subtitle I came up with for that logo manifested into what you see today.
The ‘I Am The Machine’ type was something I created around the same time as Hypothesis Theory. The initial thought was that it could turn into some means of encouraging people to be involved in politics, but someone already owns the domain
Finally, the ‘Ink Tank’ designs were created for Project Ink, a graphics company in Upland, CA where I also work. Whether the company decides to use them is yet to be determined.

While surfing through the endless talent on Behance.net I stumbled across the work of Finnish designer Ossi Gustafsson. You can see from this example some of his amazing typography skills, however you can see more on the Hiekka Graphics portfolio page.

This poster, aptly named “Heaven And Earth” can be displayed with either side up depending on the preference of the viewer. This work was inspired by some of my favorite digital artists, Chuck Anderson of No Pattern and James White of Signalnoise. If you aren’t familiar with their work you should definitely check them out.

A new/old design called “Heart For Africa.” The first draft of this actually came out of a class assignment for Form and Space. Years later I decided to add to it with the paint smear. I’ve always had an interest in Africa, and more so once I saw the documentary by Invisible Children. After I graduate I hope to travel there.

This is the first in what I hope to be many More Than A Brand posters. The series is titled “Made In _____” and aims at helping people realize just how interconnected the world’s economies are. These are all hand-illustrated vector designs at 18″ x 24″.
These posters are available for purchase at the More Than A Brand store. Also, a portion of the profits from all sales will go to support various charities.
